Well, there's not much news here because we're pretty slack by all accounts and like it that way. Unfortunately we have neither the time nor the money for any new releases right now - but we're putting on the odd gig in London now and then - come along they're either stupid cheap or free and always noisey.

Last year we decided to put on a gig the night before new years eve at The Buffalo Bar in Highbury. We weren't sure at the time whether this was really a very clever idea.... However, for those of you lucky enough to be there I'm sure you'll agree with us as to what a stupidly amazing evening it turned out to be....

And so.... on Sunday the 30th of December 2007 we will be getting our freak on once more with the ToddRanch to bring you 'A NIGHTMARE BEFORE NEW YEAR' part 2. Joining the awesome SHIT AND SHINE this time around will be the pioneering noise outfit SUTCLIFFE JUGEND along with Rough Trade DJs to nice up the dance...

As anyone who's been to The Buffalo Bar before will know, this is a very small, intimate venue and sells out very fast - we strongly recommend buying advance tickets to avoid dissappointment. They're a mere five quid and can be bought here > TICKETS

Start your new years eve drinking early - Start as you mean to go on - be properly fucked in time for 2008 - it's gonna be shit anyway.....

Tony and Rhys Noisestar will be wearing the judges wigs of doom for the next three months thanks to Carbon Logic. If you are not familar with the Carbon Logic web site - go check it out right away. It is home for fine artists around the world and enables bands, musicians etc to upload music for free and for the general public to listen to their tracks for free and leave feedback and comments.

Every 3 months, the best track, as chosen by guest judge's, win a 2 day recording session at a professional recording studio. The winner's session for our 5th carbon logic competition will be held at Snorkel Studios, the London recording HQ of Slowfoot Records. So if anyone is interested in some free studio time, get your track submitted straight away.....and make it noisey.

Thanks to everyone who came down to the Montague Arms last week. It was great to see that place packed for a change. Hopefully there will be more Noisestar orientated rock down at the Montague later in the year.

If you still haven't got a copy of the Shit and Shine 'Cunts with Roses' 12" then hurry, we only have 6 left. Shit and Shine will be drumm and bass'ing their way round Europe over the next couple of months. check the [events] page for dates and times.

The Notorious Hi-Fi Killers are putting the finishing touches to their debut long player which should hopefully surface late 2007/early 2008. They are also playing a northern show to celebrate nottingham blues boys LORDS 100th show. This is at Sushimi, Derby on 14th September.

Die Die Deneuve are currently recording their debut album which will be released though Noisestar before the end of the year. This 3 piece rule South London at the moment and we can't wait get this record out on nice thick heavy vinyl.
